Earthquakes in Turkey and northern Syria
Large areas in Turkiye and Syria were hit by multiple earthquakes at the beginning of the week.
23 million people were affected by 7.7 and 7.6 devastating earthquakes that caused a humanitarian catastrophe in southern Turkiye and destroyed 10 cities.
Would you like to help?
Tragically, over 12,000 people have been lost to the earthquake and thousands are left homeless.
Turkey issued a level-4 alarm, which includes an international call for help.
